Silver Lake is Echo Park’s upscale, hilly neighbor. A very hip and diverse neighborhood.
Silver Lake is home of some of the most famous modernist architecture in the U.S., Neutra, Schindler, Lautner, Wright, and Ain being among the most well-known architects commissioned to build residences in the area.
The hills give rise to some of the most spectacular views in the city of Los Angeles; Griffith Park Observatory, the Hollywood sign and the namesake reservoir. Silver Lake is home to many trendy restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques.
