Century City Community

Century City, originally the backlot of Fox Studios, is a commercial and residential area on the Westside.  It is home to a large number of law firms, rivaling downtown and has ties to the entertainment industry.  Residences in this area are primarily in high-rise buildings, the newest, and most expensive, being  The Century.

The Century City high rises were some of the first to be built in the 1960s when the earthquake-related height restrictions were lifted.
