Downtown Los Angeles is Not Just for Working, it is Also for Living

Many Westside Angelenos rarely venture to Downtown Los Angeles. When we do it is usually to visit a business or spend time in the 100 blocks of the L.A. Fashion District.

There is another side to Downtown Los Angeles, and that is the residential loft community that is sprouting up in buildings that were once offices, factories, etc. The amount of construction is indicative of the confidence in the growth of this area. The burgeoning Arts District and the upcoming development of the L.A. River will continue to draw residents to Downtown L.A.

The median price continues to rise and is currently around $600,ooo.

These lofts are a great alternative for USC students, instead of renting.
