Looking for a home in Los Angeles? You have many options to choose from. I will not name the main sites, we all know them. However, I have endeavored with this site to provide you with a safe, no-pressure tool to search for homes anonymously for as long as you wish. There is no forced registration, no pop-up chat window.
You will not be contacted unless you choose to be. You are in control.

Meanwhile, depending on how you wish to search you will have several options:
Home Page: You will find searches broken down by selected communities, and within those communities, when it makes sense, you will find different price points and property types.
Zip Code: Do you have a specific zip code in mind? This section offers a selection.
New Listings: Do you want to follow new listings as they come on the market? You can search here for a broader coverage area. You may also establish your own criteria and receive real time updates as homes come on the market. Use the “Get Listing Alerts” in the sidebar.
Map Search: Would like to build your own home search? This will not be practical on a smart phone as it is not mobile friendly yet.
Recent Sales: Finding recent home sales in your area of interest, will help you understand the market and enable you to price your home realistically as a seller and make a good offer as a buyer.
Rental Properties: Do you want to rent a home in Los Angeles at this time? (Please note that if your budget is below $3,000 then you will be better off using one of the online rental sites. The same goes for short-term rentals.)
Mortgage Calculators: Feel free to use the calculators to estimate your monthly payments, eligibility, etc.
What is an IDX?: IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange and is what allows agents like me who subscribe to an outside service to show all active listings on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). All the listings you see on my site are a feed from several MLS services in the area. I am not necessarily the listing agent, but the actual listing agent and their brokerage is specified in each listing. The feed is also not restricted to just active listings. It will show all pending and sold listings also. So make sure that your search restricts results to just active listings.
Market Reports: Would you like to find out how the market is doing in your area of choice? This is live data with real time updates.
Also, from any page you can access a simple home search either above the listing results or in the sidebar.
The Buying Process: Are you a first time home buyer? Do you need a refresher course on what is involved in buying a home in Los Angeles, especially in this low inventory market?
I do try to post on a fairly regular basis about current market trends, especially as it affects the buyer, so please feel free to navigate through the site to see if there is anything of interest to you. There is a search bar in the sidebar which you will find on all pages except the home page.
And for Sellers: You may not have sold a home before, or maybe it has been a while. Are you wondering what your home is worth? Do you want to check out the market with live, updated information?
