Let’s take a break from real estate for a few minutes and check out some of the Los Angeles Halloween events for 2012.
West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval: advertised as “the largest Halloween street party in the world”. This is a parade you need to attend once as you will see by This is not for the shy and retiring. An area of West Hollywood is closed off from La Cienega to Doheny, with hundreds of thousands of people crammed together looking at the amazing costumes of the participants. The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Parking is a problem. I would say arrive early, but things really get going after 10:00 p.m. and the events runs well in to the early hours. As I said before, you must attend the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval, at least once in your life. And it is FREE.

One more to add to this good list (if I may): the annual silent movie & organ performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall. I work with the LA Phil and have attended this 3 out of 5 of the past years…it’s spooky and fun and good for all ages. http://laphil.com/SilentFilm
