You may be moving to Los Angeles or moving within Los Angeles and you are lost as to where to start. You can use the usual suspects: Zillow, Trulia, Craigslist, Westside Rentals, but let me add another resource: www.homejane.com.
If you are moving to Los Angeles you are probably not ready to buy a home right away. You will need to check out areas first and settle in. If you are moving within Los Angeles it may be because your lease is up, or your are downsizing, or you want to move up.
I have tried to make this site easy to maneuver and find what you are looking for:
Here’s a little road map:
If you would like to start a search on your own, then click on “Los Angeles Home Search”.
If you would like to search Los Angeles homes for sale by community, then click on “Search by Community” and check out the drop down of selected communities. The community list on the left will give you a little insight into each neighborhood and on the right you will find pre-built searches by “Map”, “Price” (when applicable), and “New Listings”. You can also see what has”Sold” over the past year and check out “Market Report”.
The “Renters” section also has pre-built community searches in a drop down menu.
There are a number of ways you can find homes for sale in Los Angeles on the site, and of course I am available to help should you need guidance.
