Malibu to Ban Septic Tanks

Malibu, an area of Los Angeles that contains some of the most expensive real estate in Los Angeles County and is home to countless movie stars, is about to lose the bulk of its septic tank systems after years of fierce debate. 2010 California Housing Market According the California Association of Realtors (CAR), home prices will increase in 2010 as the low-end market and foreclosures are bought up. This will also leave a shortage of homes as the inventory dries up. The median California price will increase by 3.3% to $280,000 with sales decreasing by 2.3% to around $527,500, the latter occurring unless the first-time home buyers’ tax credit is extended. The Decline of the Los Angeles Home

Let me tell you about the the pricing of the homes out here in Los Angeles. Right now San Diego and Los Angeles are making a little come back. Late last year the declines were 26-27% but now the declines are 24-23%. Los Angeles year-over-year price drops have been moderating now for the past five to six months.
