Construction on Playa Vista started with Phase 1 in 2001 and is the newest development on the Westside of Los Angeles. Playa Vista combines residential, commercial and open spaces and is a mixture of single family homes, condos, lofts and numerous amenities, including a central clubhouse.
Playa Vista is one of the few communities in Los Angeles subject to a Mello Roos tax.
Playa Vista schools fall under the LAUSD
